Stronger Families, Confident Care

Families bring different strengths, challenges, and lived experiences into every interaction.

That’s why Growing Great Families® Next Generation (GGF) was created—to help professionals support families with confidence, care, and consistency.

Whether families are navigating parenting challenges, recovery, trauma, or major life transitions, no two visits are exactly alike.

Providing meaningful, individualized support takes more than experience—it takes practical tools that help professionals build trust, guide purposeful conversations, and respond to each family’s unique needs.

At the heart of GGF is a simple goal: helping professionals support families with confidence, care, and consistency so families can grow stronger together.

A Relationship-Focused Curriculum

Designed for home visiting, child welfare, and recovery-focused settings, GGF is a relationship-centered curriculum that helps facilitators strengthen parent-child relationships while promoting protective factors, resilience, and healthy family functioning.

Rather than simply providing information, GGF equips professionals to lead strengths-based conversations that encourage caregivers to reflect on their experiences, build confidence, and practice skills that support healthy child development. The curriculum’s flexible design allows facilitators to tailor visits to each family’s goals, interests, and stage of development while maintaining a consistent framework for quality service delivery.

What’s Included

GGF provides practical, ready-to-use resources that help facilitators spend less time planning and more time engaging families.

The curriculum includes:

  • More than 20 adaptable family sessions
  • Conversation guides and facilitation notes
  • Interactive developmental activities
  • Research-based parenting resources
  • Digital, print, and Spanish-language materials for virtual or in-person services

These tools create structure without feeling rigid, giving professionals the flexibility to personalize each visit while keeping conversations purposeful and family-centered.

Helping Families Build Lasting Connections

Strong families grow through relationships, not just information. GGF combines guided conversations, parenting support, and hands-on activities that help caregivers build confidence while strengthening their connection with their children.

Each visit encourages families to reflect on their strengths, explore goals, and practice new skills together. Over time, these shared experiences help build trust, strengthen attachment, and foster resilience that extends well beyond the visit itself.

Through GGF, facilitators help families:

  • Strengthen parent-child relationships
  • Build caregiver confidence
  • Increase engagement through meaningful, relevant conversations
  • Develop protective factors that support long-term family well-being

Training That Builds Confidence

Successful implementation starts with confident facilitators. Every GGF curriculum includes access to a two-hour online training course that introduces the curriculum, demonstrates how to use it effectively, and reinforces strategies for leading purposeful, relationship-centered visits.

For new staff, the training supports faster onboarding and reduces guesswork. For experienced facilitators, it provides a consistent framework that strengthens implementation across teams and promotes fidelity in everyday practice.

Supporting Programs, Too

GGF benefits both the professionals delivering services and the organizations that support them.

For facilitators, the curriculum reduces planning time with ready-to-use sessions, practical prompts, and conversation guides that make complex family discussions easier to navigate.

For program leaders, GGF helps create greater consistency across staff and sites while supporting supervision, coaching, onboarding, and quality improvement efforts. Organizations gain a research-informed resource that helps strengthen implementation and support long-term program success.

Programs use GGF to:

  • Deliver more consistent services across teams
  • Simplify onboarding for new staff
  • Support coaching and implementation fidelity
  • Equip facilitators for complex family conversations
  • Strengthen services with research-informed resources

Helping Families Thrive

When professionals have the right tools and training, families benefit. Visits become more focused, engaging, and responsive to each family’s unique circumstances. Caregivers leave feeling supported, empowered, and better prepared to nurture healthy relationships with their children.

The GGF curriculum helps professionals move beyond simply sharing information. It creates opportunities for meaningful conversations, stronger parent-child connections, and lasting positive change.
