Growing Great Kids® Next Generation

A flexible, yet targeted curriculum series that meets the needs of each of your program families.

Continuity in service delivery through progressively introducing parents and caregivers to pertinent information and building their parenting and family life skills.

Growing Great Kids® Next Generation Prenatal-36 Months

Our latest effort to support the work of Home Visiting is our Growing Great Kids® Next Generation Curriculum materials. This newest version of the Growing Great Kids® Curriculum includes many new features as well as several enhancements.

Overall, the one thing that defines Next Generation is an enhanced ability to individualize each family’s experience based on their wants and needs and those of their child. This level of engagement with families allows them to have voice and choice in the planning of home visits.

Home visiting cannot be administered uniformly, so Next Generation is much more flexible and targeted. By differentiating what works, for whom, and in what contexts, GGK Next Generation supports programs as they work to meet the needs of each program family.

Some of the enhancements in Next Generation include:

  • Emphasis on the 9 Key Ingredients – the essential parenting skill sets in the Daily Dos and the Attachment Boosters
  • Lots of new conversation guides with expanded content
  • A new module called Attachment and Self-Regulation
  • Activities are organized in a more accessible manner, at the back of each manual
  • Parent Handouts are now interactive in nature and can be transmitted electronically to families
  • Each sub-section is now a standalone subject and pre-determined order exists
  • Plus many other new design features

The Curriculum Series Includes:
