A Message from Our Board President

As we look to 2026, our Board President shares a message of gratitude and hope for the work we continue together.

With Gratitude and Hope for the Year Ahead

Juan Muñoz

Board President

Dear Partners and Friends,

As we close out this year and step into the next, the Board of Directors and I want to extend our appreciation to those connected to this work. Across programs and communities, practitioners and leaders continue to create spaces where caregivers feel supported, and where children can feel safe, secure, loved, valued, capable, and curious. We are honored to contribute to that effort through the curriculum, training, and support we provide.

This has been a challenging year for many in our communities. At the same time, the field continues to face real pressures, including unstable funding streams at both the state and federal level that create uncertainty for programs and the families they serve. Still, there is nothing uncertain about the value of this work. When caregivers are empowered and confident, they create safe, loving home environments and nurture the inner strengths their children need to reach their highest developmental potential. It has reminded us how resilience forms in the presence of support and how hope takes root when communities show up for one another.

As we move forward, we do so with clarity and optimism. The path in front of us is clear: strengthen what works. That means supporting professionals in the field, elevating the resources they rely on, and expanding what is possible for families and caregivers. Progress happens when programs are stable, caregivers are supported, and communities invest in the support systems where children can thrive.

Thank you for your trust, your collaboration, and the impact you help make possible. It is a privilege to move forward together.

With warm appreciation,
Juan Muñoz, Board President
