On Relationship of Program Outcomes to Use of the Growing Great Kids Curriculum
Regarding HANDS outcomes on the Child and Family Rating Scale,
Dr. Bob Illback, Chief Kentucky HANDS Researcher writes:
"Regarding the rating scale…as you will note, the most dramatic
positive gains were seen in Adequacy of Parenting, Understanding Child
Development, Appropriate Discipline, Providing Enriching Learning Experiences,
Quality of Communication, Bonding to Caregiver, Family Cooperation,
Health Care, and Clothing. Most of these, it seems to me, are directly
related to the skill development that underlies Growing Great
Kids Curriculum including the Growing Great Families Manual."
